Gus gave Hank a call, giving him a heads-up so he could fight back. He was trying to stick it to the cartel without them catching on - if he’d gone ahead and ordered a hit, they’d have been all over him like white on rice!
Gus didn’t do much, ya know? He just kinda hung around, not really doing anything. I guess you could say he was a bit of a slacker.
