Plus, their intelligence is only getting better with time - talk about impressive! From solving puzzles to recognizing faces, these primates have got it all figured out. Heck, some of them are even smarter than us humans! Now that’s saying something.

Bill never expected it when he first met Kanzi, but the 2-year-old bonobo quickly became a part of his life. Who knew that this Georgia State grad student would be working with one of the world’s smartest apes? Kanzi was one of only three animals known to communicate with humans, expressing feelings, preferences and needs. It’s been an incredible journey for Bill and Kanzi over the past 31 years!
