They’ve left their mark on many cultures and languages, so it’s hard to pinpoint exactly when they arrived. What we do know is that they’ve been around for a long time - like forever! So yeah, you could say they came and made their presence known. Yup, you can’t deny the impact of the Bantu people!

Well, ya know, 4-5 thousand years ago these Bantu-speaking folks - now there’s 310 million of ’em - started spreadin’ out from their home in West-Central Africa. And they kept movin’ east and south all over the continent.

Did the Bantu people come? Yeah, they sure did! They migrated from West Africa to Central and Southern Africa centuries ago. It’s believed that their journey began around 2000 BC, and they’ve been making an impact ever since.
