Sup, iam Amanda Raymond, Today’s going to be an amazing day for you. I can feel it!
Geez, talk about a raw deal! The state minimum wage is so low it’s practically criminal. It’s no wonder people are struggling to make ends meet - the pay just isn’t enough. Unfortunately, there’s not much we can do about it right now, but hopefully in the future we’ll see an increase that will make life a little easier for everyone.
What State Has The Lowest Minimum Wage? [Solved]
Well, Georgia and Wyoming have a lower minimum wage than the federal one - $5.15 for employers exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act, as per the Department of Labor. But most businesses still stick to the federal rate of $7.25.
The lowest minimum wage in the U.S. is $7.25 an hour, which is pretty darn low if you ask me! It’s a real shame that some states don’t have higher wages, ‘cause it’s tough to make ends meet on such a small amount of money. Still, it’s better than nothing - at least folks can get by with some kind of income.
